Last evening I joined hundreds of people in the Light the Night Walk, supporting LLS – The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thanks to VERY generous and supportive friends and family, I was able to raise $330 for cancer research, 230% more than my original goal of $100!

As we walked, I felt pensive, thinking about the survivors that were there and those who weren’t able to beat cancer. We had cheerleaders along the way and it was uplifting to see so many lighted balloons filling the streets.

Donate your new or gently used suits and dresses to benefit Dress for Success Louisville while enjoying samples of wine and appetizers!

The event takes place at Westport Village on Thursday, June 23rd from 6:00-9:00pm and has a $10 entry fee (a portion goes to Dress for Success).

This summer, a 12-year-old named Zach is walking coast to coast (2,200 miles to be exact) to raise awareness and money for homeless kids. The young activist is on his way to a life of advocacy and philanthropy, having founded the nonprofit organization called Little Red Wagon Foundation before even turning 10!

During his years, he’s walked across the state of Florida and all the way to Washington D.C. This time he’s walking from Florida to California. Read more of his incredible story here.
